Marriage Licenses
Marriage license applications can be obtained at:

Hours for obtaining marriage licenses are:
Weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
(Both parties must sign the license at that time)
Please allow approximately 20 minutes to obtain a license.
- The fees for License is $60.00, payable when license is issued
- Medical examinations and blood tests are not required
Licenses by Mail
To obtain a marriage license by mail, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to:

An application will be mailed to you with instructions on how to fill it out. On approval of your application, which is normally within 3 days of receipt, we will send your license to you.
Domestic Partnerships
The Declaration of Domestic Partnership law is effective on February 1, 2008. The Official Form will be available on the State of Oregon website on February 1, 2008. Using the State of Oregon website link provided you can obtain Form Instructions, FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) and a link to House Bill 2007.
State of Oregon Domestic Partnership Forms/Instructions
- The fee for Registration is $60.00
- Registrants do not need to be residents of Washington County.
- One registrant must be an Oregon resident.
- There is no waiting period.
- Washington County does not provide Notary services.
They accept cash and personal checks.
They do not accept debit or charge cards.
